Katie Holmes & Bobbi Brown

It was announced late last year that Katie Holmes was possibly going to be the first face of Bobbi Brown's cosmetics. I think most people forgot all about it and took it as another gossip rumour however this week that announcement came to fruition - She is the face of Bobbi Brown's!

I've always thought Katie Holmes was a natural beauty. She's not one to go crazy with her fashion or makeup style and she tends to veer more on the classic than current side of style. I love that she doesn't seem to be an attention seeker and she looks like she's an awesome mum - It's those qualities that make me like her even more.

Overall I think Bobbi Brown have made an excellent choice with Katie and I can't wait to see what she brings to the cosmetics table. I'm hoping she will launch herself more into the limelight as I do think she's a huge inspiration for little and big girls. Anyone that can give birth the Scientology way (Google it) deserves huge amounts of kudos...seriously.

Katie's look in the adverts reminds me of of the classic Hollywood starlets with their smouldering eyes and sultry pouts. Katie used the sorts of products we all have in our collections. Katie's apparently been wearing the brand for a long time and was quoted as saying 'I've always been a fan of her makeup, because it's so easy to apply. Her colour palettes aren't extreme, so when I first started wearing makeup it felt comfortable and I didn't feel like I had too much on, which can happen.'
