Shu Uemura's Lightbulb Foundation & It's Not a Charity For Sailors.

Foundation and a natural even coverage are one of those things we ladies never stop trying to get right. You find you're favourite foundation but somewhere down the line your skin changes, get's darker or lighter and you're back to square one.

Shu Uemura has announced that as of September they will be launching a new foundation. The new foundation is called 'The Lightbulb' - say what? The Lightbulb? what type of ridiculous name is that? Anyhow this foundation offers higher coverage than standard foundations, it also offers up to twelve hours of moisturisation.

The product comes with a hand-finished sponge - somewhat like a Beauty Blender I suppose; this sponge works with the foundation's 'oil technology' and leaves the wearer with a glowing complexion whether indoors or outdoors.

There are fourteen shades overall, I'm not sure how light or how dark they will go but I'm definitely intrigued by the oil technology. Do you think this will really offer a major visual difference in comparison to other brands? On paper, it does sound amazing so I kind of want to test it out but then again I don't want to fork out the £39 price tag for something that doesn't live up to its claims.

What do you lovelies think? Yay or nay?
