Crabtree & Evelyn are one of those brands that you either love or hate. I 'like' them but tend to not go out of my way to purchase the items, not for any reason other than I forget - the brand fades into the background. When I do however I kick myself because their creams, for example, are just as good as say The Body Shop or L'Occitane.
The brand is releasing their Limited Edition Heritage Collection on the 19th of September as they have to celebrate forty years of fragrance - I think it's fab that a company such as Crabtree & Evelyn have reached a huge milestone like that especially in this economy.
The range comprises of seven compositions designed to reflect Europe's ancient cities and the Mediterranean coastline.
Sevillian Neroli Eau de Cologne - Features Neroli, Grapefruit, Lemon, Tangerine and White Tea, blended with Cedarwood and Clove.
Old Windsor Eau de Cologne - Features Bergamot, Bitter Orange and Verbena blended with English Lavender and Sandalwood.
Hungary Water Eau de Cologne - Influenced by the brand's rosemary recipe. Notes include Rosemary, Pink Pepper, Spearmint, Cypress and Geranium.
Neapolitan Bergamot Eau de Cologne - Features Italian Bergamot and Lemon.
Florentine Freesia Flower Water - Italian Freesia, Cyclamen, Muguet, Orange, Pear and Amber.
Venetian Violet Flower Water - Contains additional notes of Lychee, Raspberry and Peach.
Old World Jasmine Flower Water - Contains White Jasmine, Gardenia and Cyclamen.
Both the Eau de Cologne's and Flower Water's cost £45 each for the 100ml sizes and will be available from their website Crabtree & Evelyn.
Which one would you choose? Personally, the Venetian Violet Flower Water stands out, the lychee and raspberry notes sound amazing. Also the Hungary Water Eau de Cologne because of my Hungarian roots.
