Lola's Apothecary Goodies

Lola's Apothecary is a new company on my radar, the brand was born from the owner Lola creating skincare to suit her own sensitive skin. Dissatisfied with other products that contained perfumes, fragrances, synthetics and chemical-laden ingredients she became pretty determined to create a range of products that were indulgent but were made using the finest natural ingredients.

Let's just say Lola and I would be BFF's! I totally get the concept and I like that concept plain and simple. The range consists of four ranges; Body Oils, Bath Oils, Luxury Bath's and Body Scrubs and prices start from £18.00 upwards.

You know me and packaging and yes the packaging was judged pretty early with these products. They have a modern apothecary style with glass jars, light wood stopper tops and luxury products inside. Take for example my Rose & Neroli Body Oil (£27.00).

How pretty right? The warm argan and rosehip oils repair and nourish the skin while also being anti-ageing what-WHAT! That’s right anti-ageing guys. Rosehip oil is jam-packed with fatty acids such as Omega 3, 6 and 9 and vitamins A, B3, C, D and E; it's an antioxidant, hydrating, suitable for sensitive skins and helps acne sufferers by reducing inflammation and the spread of bacteria. That's just the rosehip; don't get me started on the Argan.

This body oil also contains Rose and Neroli. Did you know that Neroli is an antidepressant, aphrodisiac and kills bad bacteria? It's also one of my favourite Essential oils, especially when combined with ylang-ylang or patchouli.

And the close-up...

Look at the roses! how amazing would this does this look, especially on the bathroom shelves. Imagine opening this up as a gift, it screams luxury, doesn't it?

I also have this little beauty to show you too, it's the Lemon & Mind Sugar Scrub (£22.00) and it's a sugary-scrubby soufflΓ© of whipped coconut butter, sweet almond oil infused with lemon and peppermint oil. It's 100% natural and is the container is big so it's going to last you a long time.

I popped those rose petals into the scrub, I just couldn't part with them as they actually came in the packaging which was an excellent little detail which really made me so happy for the rest of the day.

I'm just so enamoured with this range honestly everything they sell is presented in such a sophisticated way, the ingredients are really carefully thought out and just so glam.

You can check out the rest of the range over on the Beauty Works West HERE but beware you're going to want everything I know I do, especially the Luxury bath products - Rose Chocolate Bath Milk? one word...Yum!
