OPI 2014 | Spotlight On Glitter Collection

Deck the halls with boughs of OPI, fal-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la.

Christmas may be past but that doesn't mean you can't still be all over glitter and it's sparkly goodness sweeties. I don't need a reason to get my sparkle on but this collection confirms that my feelings on glitter being in any time of the year is correct.

The OPI Spotlight On Glitter collection will be launched around March time. There are six spangled colours and I so badly want them all - like seriously! I adore glitter because it's so easy to apply, it's durable and can be worn both alone or as a topcoat. Most polishes chip after a few days to a few weeks but glitter you just whip another coat on that bad boy and off you go - all lazy girls or mummies will totally get the need for whipping on another coat quickly. Who has time to remove and re-apply every few days? like seriously?

Want to know what the shades and names of the polishes are? Yup I thought so, here goes...

Blush Hour - Sorry, gotta blush... this super dense fuchsia glitter is way too charming.

Chasing Rainbows - Your pursuit of gorgeous has won you this rainbow with pot-of-gold highlights.

Desperately Seeking Sequins - This prismatic glitter on a backdrop of shimmer is just what you're looking for.

I Reached My Gold! -The cache of gold confetti in this clear rainbow glitter is all yours!

Rose of Light - A million points of light radiate from this rosy gold and rainbow sparkle.

You Pink Too Much - I'm obsessed with this rosy glitter set in a shimmery base.

What do you think, pretty? I love them, I would seriously rock any of these in any season but I know how controversial it may seem for a brand to release an all glitter collection in March of all seasons. I do wonder why they decided on March as a release and not February (Valentine's Day)? Anyway, I'm not going to grumble of a few weeks as these have been swiftly added to the 2014 wishlist.

Once launched you will be able to pick these up from Nail Polish Direct as well as the usual websites.
