Splurging // Wishlist

When it comes to fashion I love clean lines. Shape and colour play a major part in the products that I choose, the issue I have is that most products that contain clean lines while being stylish and multifunctional are extortionately priced. Because of this I have wishlists for lots of online stores such as Harvey Nichols, Zalando and Net-A-Porter but not many of those products ever reach my wardrobe *sobs*

I received my usual Harvey Nich's email which shows new launches and products - I just 'had' to create a wishlist, like had to there and then. While these top picks may seem dull to some I personally love them because of their shapes, ability to flow and of course factoring in the price per wear factor. These will last for many seasons so they're financially a better option if I'm going to splurge.

Here's my top picks - although I could have easily doubled this list just this afternoon.

Luxury Wishlist

Marc Jacobs Bianca Silk Dress (£395) / Marc Jacobs Frances Striped Silk Dress (£370) / Honor Metallic Weave Top (£855) / Schumacher White Cashmere Top (£395) / Goat Redgrave Wool Coat (£580) / Erdem Floral Trousers (£560) / Carven Cotton & Silk Skirt (£325) / Joie Wool Track Pants (£245) / Toga Harness Ankle Boots (£385) / Vince Metallic Ballet Flats (£245) / Alice & Olivia Dina Pumps (£245) / Mark Cross Scottie Tote (£2575) / Givenchy Antigona Large Leather Clutch (£750) / Michael Kors Selma Saffiano Tote (£315) / Olivia Burton Woodland Bee Watch (£80) / Maria Black Monocle Ring (£65) / Marc Jacobs Olive Dog Jumper (£195)

The first product I chose was the silver Vince ballet flats - these would look amazing in the spring especially for running while looking fab. Dresses are a major weakness and I would seriously live in dresses - waistbands annoy the life out of me. The dresses are both day dresses but the Marc Jacobs stripe dress can easily be teamed with some killer heels to wear at a night event.

Pastels are back on my radar, I feel guilty for ever letting them go out of my radar but hey-ho it happened. The Alice & Olivia yellow heels, powdery blue Goat coat and the matching Michael Kors Tote are perfect additions to any spring wardrobe - I love them, especially the baby yellow heels.

Accessories this season for me personally are minimal and metals. I use to be all about the bling, statement necklaces and pieces that look OTT. I cringe when I think about it but this year I'm coveting metals, especially mixed metals such as Sterling, Rose and Gold together. Adding in a swish of boho with some Hipanema and friendship style bracelets (possibly a tassel or two) and that would be the perfect accessory wardrobe.

Jogging bottoms are mega again but worn in a glam way. Heels are a must if you're wearing a sports pant and it's ideal to wear block colours to tone it down and make it chic. The Honor top is extortionate and I will never own it, I will be looking for a ''save'' version of it from here on - any ideas? have you noticed one like this somewhere?

*sigh* I suppose I'll end up looking elsewhere for similar products. A girl can dream though can't I? All of these products are from Harvey Nichols. You have been warned there's tons of amazing goodies on there right now.
